I would have thought so. There are some good videos doing the rounds this morning of 4 guys bringing him down with a fire extinguisher and a 7' narwhal tusk. One of them a Polish immigrant. Bloody poles, coming over here and tacking our terrorists.

We are really behind the times in Canada. Not only is toilet paper other than white hard to come by, this morning I discovered that in addition to all the nice colours I remember in the UK, they now have scented toilet paper, including a Christmas one of mulled spice.

Seems we can be in Canada. There was a company selling some colors of toilet paper in Wal-Mart a couple years ago (not sure if they still do) but the price was a bit high for what you were getting and not a good value.

I know in the US toilet paper in various colors was around from the middle 1950's until middle 1980's, seems one of the biggest reasons for the decline is change in bathroom design and decor, pastel and colorful bathrooms lost popularity into the 1980's.

I wonder if Canada was like that as well.

Is that a variation on the constipated mathemetician way of achieving a cleansing?

Spoiler:
works it out with a pencil

I'd really worry about someone who bought coloured toilet paper to match their bathroom

Paper making is highly energy intensive. One review indicates " The pulp, paper and printing sector accounted for 5.6% of industrial energy consumption in 2014" https://www.iea.org/etp/tracking2017/pulpandpaper/
So.. a strong case could be made for abolishing toilet paper and other paper based hygiene products altogether and reverting to using other methods used successfully in the past.
Other means are readily available for this specific task, eg a sponge, but how many green climate change warriors would themselves use one? It's not something I've heard suggested by anyone, am I the first?
You see, this is a simple and easily accomplished act that nearly everyone could adopt and it would help save the planet. It would reduce CO2 emissions, save money, save trees and thereby generate O2 etc. etc.
So how about it. Who's for joining me in the stick and sponge brigade?
