Yesterday was Haddock but really very good. Kelseys does Cod and that's the best. Proper English batter.

I prefer haddock by far. You cannot get haddock here nor cod as we know it.

Personally, I like a nice wing of skate but have to save that for when back in UK.

A friend from NS who was a carpenter foreman in the oilpatch used to get salt cod sent in so his crew of easterners could make fish cakes like back home. By this trick he was able to keep the best guys for his own team. He also bemoaned the fact that "You can't get no good seal meat out here."
