Proper surfing.
I don't have a photo, but I well remember the joys of body-surfing. Of course it's still practised, and by a lot of people, but the word "surfing" is usually taken to mean "board-surfing". Does anybody on our list still body-surf?

I don't recall ever using these computers for anything except some game, can't recall the name of the game or what it even was, but I do know it was a game. Not sure why schools had them, we sure didn't do much with them....lol


The old pre-xerox type machines schools used that printed off in a purple color, smelled funny too.

When I was a kid (70s) I got into skateboarding for a bit. I lost interest quite quickly, so my board was in good nick. My sodding mother gave it away when I went to college.

I hate to think what a 1970s Santa Cruz board in mint condition would be worth now

She did the same with my collection of Matchbox cars and Captain Scarlet vehicles. I've seen what those things sell for now. I had lots of them.
