Forecast ......... snow today (it is still snowing on and off, mainly on)
Sun tomorrow
More snow on Thursday
Rain on Friday
We have currently about 20 cm here.
Two nice things about snow ............... it is much brighter than when it rains, and it is also much quieter as there is little traffic noise when traffic is moving on snow-covered streets

Same old, same old here...winter storm forecast...hazardous conditions, total whiteout warnings...rinse and repeat again and again till the snow goes in May if we are lucky The interesting thing is how palpably you can feel the change in people with this rubbish coming...Atlantic Superstore tonight was like a war zone, everyone was a little edgy, the place was jam packed, the drivers were even worse than usual too, which is pushing it as they are normally bad, but we lost a lot of that ‘let you in’ to the traffic line up that the East Coast is known for...we were all a bit more grim

How is Oink taking this. I know he has a lot of sympathy for other parts of Canada when they get winter weather. I guess the snow doesn't affect his fishing but maybe the high winds and bigger than normal waves would.

Supposed to snow Tuesday night, might cause some trouble flying Wed morning or even getting to the airport, taxis in Vancouver in snow are not reliable.

Yippee! We had snowmagedon forecast for this morning but it didn’t happen...it’s postponed till this afternoon I’m going to take the dog for a walk!!! Exciting, as it’s the second time this winter he’s been out with me...it’s been so glacial I can’t chance it...living in Eastern Canada certainly changes ones perceptions...I rewatched Girl with The Dragon Tatoo last night, and was idly musing how nice a Swedish winter looks

Fort Erie is getting hit hard by ice packs going up onto othe shoreline, driven by the 100k winds and Port Dover is flooded..
