The new winter thread - 2018-19
Given we had a little snow the other day and ice pellets whitening the deck (maybe a touch of freezing rain too) right now, it's time to start the winter thread.

It's snowing here in Ottawa and now accumulating on the road. It started at about 19h yesterday and has been on and off since. The kids next door (5 and 3) love it...the rest of us not so much. |
Re: The new winter thread - 2018-19
No snow here. As of yesterday no snow on the local mountains either, could have changed overnight they are not currently visible.
Hovering at a balmy 11 degrees currently with rain on and off. |

You poor barstards who live on the cold side of Canada, I don't know how you do it. I complain when it snows in mid December and doesn't melt until the end of February.
