I deleted my post then saw that you had replied.

If you look back at that thread you will see that I sympathised with you more than once. I wasn't picking on you. If you see it that way then I am sorry. I was arguing with Yogi bear not you.

Sorry, I really was stuck in the middle of some sort of horror thing going on here and was really stressed out. To feel under attack in your own home is hideous it should be a safe haven but hasn't been it has been our prison. It got so bad the kids couldn't even play in the back garden due to fireworks being thrown. I guess when I started the post I hadn't banked on the way it would escalate out of control and I'm genuinely sorry that I took your posts the wrong way. I can't even remember what it was that got my goat now and honestly haven't got the energy to go back and check but I think I was just feeling more than a little under attack on here as well. All I wanted to do was find some way of venting so that when I have a wobble (as I'm doing tonight) then I had something to go back to to read and remind me of this living hell. I am not normally bothered by what people say on forums, I've moderated enough in my time to not let it bother me but I did feel under attack on here, although I know a lot of people were also very supportive.

I am sorry it turned into such a big misunderstanding.

Just think, only 2 months until TWP and 6 months until you all fasten your seatbelts. There's a high probability that when you walk out of the terminal at Pearson International it will be in the 80's and the sun will be shining. If not, it will do so within a couple of days. You will get to where you'll be staying, have a barbeque or whatever and lots of laughing and, no doubt, some weeping. Canada, as you know, is not Utopia but from what I read in your posts it has to be better that what you and family go through at present. Hang in there, the best is yet to come,

Have you ever had days where you look for something and can't find it, so you stop looking and it turns up.

I'm not helping much, am I?

{{{{hugs}}}}

It gets to us all, mine advised that she had booked her annual holiday wrong and its bang in the middle of when she was coming here, it ripped me, but you know what........

it couldnt be helped, letting her on a computer to book her own holiday...not a good idea :curse:

But we have sorted it and all i want now is to meet her at that airport and give her a big hug and her mix up means that i see her earlier than we thought

Things happen, we all have good days and bad days, coming on here just helps us vent them bad ones sometimes

I think this time of year is just hard in general it's that down time after all the planning for Christmas and people seem to go into hibernation mode. I was always glad to see the back of January. Hope you feel more positive soon.

Me too.

One thing I found about moving here was that it took a while to settle down after the hassles of eggthrowing etc. We've been here 30 months, have just moved house and now I am finally beginning to relax here.

This is a good place to vent, so keep on venting.
