Burning in the day banned already as the ground is too dry. I am sure somewhere though the stats will say that we have higher rainfall here than in the UK. Therefore they must be on high alert by now

Oh, I agree, I just don't see what the OP's problem with honorary citizenship might be.

I was tempted to put this in the marijuana thread...
Ranchers watch lone beaver herd curious cattle on Saskatchewan pasture | Regina Leader-Post
They cut him a break, recognising that he wasn't really a porcupine. If you walk into a herd of cattle with a medium or large sized dog they will often be aggressive because they are used to defending against coyotes.

So it didn't turn out to be Barcelona or Real Madrid, but that was a long-shot anyway. The $22 tickets no doubt put you in the nose bleed seats, but there might be some contests on tv and radio to win one.

Oh dear

Toilet paper limited to 'two per week' at New Brunswick retirement home

Ok, I rarely rant on Facebook and I know I will regret this tomorrow but I am so mad and disgusted that I cannot help myself. My mother in law lives at the Manoir Notre Dame in Moncton. She pays over $2,500 per month for the smallest room they have available, she is on a fixed income like many seniors and is left with only limited funds at the end of the month. Today, she called because she was out of toilet paper and Kleenex and needed to use the facilities. She asked one of the staff members for a roll of toilet paper and was told that they were no longer allowed to give out toilet paper.....imagine that!
