You get what you pay for really

I bet it still makes you look cool when you whip it out? Babe magnet and all all that or just to stare at when sitting in a restuarant or walking on the street

I didn't pay for it, it's a work supplied phone. The Blackberry I was previously given was just as bad. Roaming for a signal that doesn't exist kills batteries.

Unlike you, I have no petty axe to grind about whether my cell runs on an Apple OS, Windows or whatever. It's a work tool, that's all.

Hey! If I unlocked my UK iPhone 4, can I buy a new sim card and use it in Canada? It's out of contract here in the Uk but I don't fancy a new gadget if I dont have to.

It's only another phone. Really don't understand the excitment over it. Why bother with another updated version of something?

I haven't been on a computer since going off work last December - all my internet is done on an android (LG Eclypse) and it's been great. I've used Macs and Pc's alternately for decades and other than Pc's being more succeptible to viruses have no preference. The occasional spambot that sneaks itself into my phone via the bookmarks is easy to thwart. The iphone's massive internal memory looks nice, but I can carry more in loose micro-sd cards, and the icloud storage thingy seems good, but Apple's forever policy of exclusivity by not allowing other devices to interface is a deal killer. You can get any phone (iphone, android, BB) for $100 or less (sometimes free) with a contract which is what I do. $55/month and I get even more than I need; it's great! Sasktel has come around from being one of the most expensive providers to having some of the most affordable plans in the country.

Oh come on. You know it's not shite.

It might not be your preferred phone (it's not mine either), but it's a quality product. No need to act like your 12 and ridicule others to validate your own choices.

No need to be sorry. Oh, go on then.

I'm not an Apple "fanboy", but I am a "fanboy" of tools that do the job the way Humans want the job done.... I detest "tools" that make Humans jump through hoops to get the damned things to work. I am not a geek... I don't give two sh1ts about the intricacies of the operating system or how many gigs of ram it has... just do the job, and do the job well. In other words, I like gear that "Does What It Says On The Tin"....

Good grief you're childish. I have 3 phones, 6 tablets and 2 laptops (Mac and windows pc) for web app/software implementation and testing. They're work tools, that's all. Why do you have such a problem with other people's choices?

Touche"

Geedee....oh and you think iPod doesn't make you jump through hoops to get songs on?

Here is the thing, if Apple products weren't shite, then one will be able to load what you want on it without being told you can only do it our way (exclusivity)

The closest I get to an apple these days, is a Granny Smith

Er... not really. I open software on my computer, connect my iPad, and click an onscreen button. That's it. Alternatively I just log in to the online store and click "buy" and voila, there it is ... neither method is exactly jumping through hoops. For most people, that is....

How do you do it on your mp3 player??
