When will it all stop? Country. Dogs.

Home fans cheering their team? Singing?

Thank God we don't have this type of behaviour at British sporting events.

How come the goalie doesn't have to wear a different coloured top, surely he's the only one allowed to handle the puck, he's got a big bloody glove to prove the point. I bet this is confusing for the other players

But this is curling for heavens sake. It's just not on to cheer a missed shot from the oppos or to make brutish noises when they're trying to concentrate on a shot. That'd be like shouting at a tennis player as s/he throws up to serve.

You might expect that in the US, but not in Canada (until now). Dogs I tells ya.

If this is true, and I stress the if, I'll be outraged.

Unsurprisingly I didn't witness this churlish behaviour first hand, but I linked to the Toronto Star article, written by a Canadian reporter. Why would she make it up?

<cue Lord V to point out that the Star is a liberal rag so quickly that he misses the whole point.>

The same picture was in the Graun. Perhaps all liberal rags.

I just knew there'd be an incident that would push these games over the edge. Worst Olympics ever in my book.

Doesn't say much for the players if they can't tell the difference and get confused.

Oh you're trying to dumb it down to the level of football. :sneaky:

My god what a fabulous game between the US and the Swiss. Score is 0-0, the US is outshooting the swiss, but the swiss are playing SO WELL....and Hillier well, what can you say - he is fabulous....

The states with allegedly one second left scored a goal, but the goal was discounted because time had run out - really tough break for the US...

I've just been watching an equally satisfying game.

Inter Milan 2-1 Chelsea.

If you like I'll ask my new bff Shannon when she gets back to town.

She's away at the moment, playing in goal for the Canadian women's Olympic team - can't remember whether I mentioned that on here before or not?

Stoke City beating Man City was another nice result as well!

Well sh*t happened on both sides today. Fabulous game though. The US dominated andwon 2-0, scoring their second goal into an empty net. The swiss played really well...
