I know - I was being sarcastic. . .after a previous thread where some one wouldnt accept that orange Pekoe was the same stuff -despite wiki articles and tetley email !!
In fact my ma is the same, so I have kept a PG tips box and when she visits I just put the tea bags in that

I can't remember which poster it was (in the thread way back when that 4bells mentioned) but it was with a remarkable quantity of vitriol that somebody insisted Orange Pekoe tasted different to the "normal" Tetley tea you get in the UK because it was a different variety.

It's the water of course. Tea, not that I drink the vile smelling vomit inducing stuff, always tastes different when you move areas even in good old Blighty.
