I just love Canada

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I had to share the never-ending wonderment living in Canada bestows. They now have smoky bacon flavoured crisps. Just another step on the long march towards enlightenment. Good stuff all round.

My issue with bacon-flavoured anything is that it just makes me want bacon. Lots and lots of bacon.

On a seperate note, during a recce visit last year I found one of those british stores near Kitchener...saw a nearly out of date jar of Branston pickle for somewhere approaching 6 quid and nearly stormed out of the store in disgust. I'd rather realign my tastebuds than bow to such blatant extortion

Rest of Canada, I dunno. We get them at the St. Lawrence Market. On balance, I don't think I need ever have bothered with Canada beyond that block.

Read this thread and had to toast all you guys with a bacon, egg and mushroom sarnie this evening. With lots of HP sauce. Someone please tell me that the oft-revered British Brekkie Sandwich is a common sight in Canada...I may have to withdraw my application if not...

It's usually in the baking aisle, rather than with jams / peanut butter where you would look in UK. Find the yeast / baking powder and you are in the right vicinity. (Marmite that is)
