Actually, the best way is to just ignore them.

Funny how you take it that I'm complaining, which I'm not - was actually curious if the posters were making a joke or were serious ('cus there are some that think that's what it's called - I've met them). And just pointing out how most people won't take any of your comments seriously if you do.

Carry on. It's always good for laugh.

Wow...how about we just talk about Curling or the CFL?

Well done Saskatchewan and Montreal over the weekend

You've got to respect the integrity of north American professional sports.

I was rather enjoying "the lockout".

+1. At least the Laffs are still in playoff contention in January. That's a first.

looks like the playoffs for Lord Stanley's trophy won't be until late June. FFS, it's meant to be a winter sport. If they can't get their acts in gear until half way through winter, they should at least have the decency to spare the rest of us the interminable droning on through half the summer as well.

The playoffs are always on in June. Weird it being 40 degrees outside and having the hockey on . Glad it's all over but I wonder whether the fans will be given something in compensation.

well yeah, but even if they go to game 7 it's usually all done by mid-month. The report on the new shortened season I saw this afternoon indicated the divisional and conference playoffs will go well into June with the final series likely to run from around 15th to 28th or so.

Not that I'll be watching. Unless the sky falls in and the Leafs or Habs are somehow in the mix at the end.

I hope not. I told my local Conserative MP that I would vote for him when the Laughs won the Stanley Cup. I've not even had a robocall from them since.
