"interface"? I suppose I extrafaced, I used to stand outside the Moss Park Arena first thing in the morning, smoking and watching the Salvation Army hostel kick out, while the kids played. Fortunately, they grew out of it.

This headline in the New York times pretty much sums up the lockout
"The Fans Are Irrelevant in the Business of the N.H.L."

The minor leagues might benefit if NHL fans buy more tickets, but what would be nice would be if CBC broadcast some of the WHL & eastern junior games in place of the NHL because I just watched some clips on the tv sports and it's first class iced hockey. That's where next year's new players come from.

Would also be nice if they played the original hockey night in Canada theme song but then again, everything is driven by the all mighty buck.

We had a guy on the gang who couldn't stand 2 pieces of styrofoam being rubbed together, so one afternoon when we saw some insulation blowing around in the field, we tied him up in the back of the crewcab and drove around in circles for an hour, squeaking.

What's your point?
If you use "iced hockey", even if you're trying to be funny, like some on this forum, you just come off as someone that has never played or understands the game. 'nuf said.

And when I played "iced hockey" we use to strip the rookies naked, tape them to a chair, put their helmet over their crotch and push the chair onto the ice while the figure skaters were on.

The best way to stop people calling iced hockey "iced hockey" is to complain about it every time you see it.
