Perhaps you could avoid this risk, and solve the cash flow problem, by taking up with <snipped>.

Can't Siri help you? She refused to meet my hubby when he asked but you might have more luck?
She might also be able to find you some websites on contraceptive advice on your flashy new phone with expensive data plan

Assuming OP is really 15 and not having a laugh, this might just cross the line between edgy shock and plain creepy.

I'm just p****d off to a) have missed DBDs full comment, and b)have no idea what Sally Redux was meant to have done to Gozit and who is the one we shouldn't name 3 times.

when I was 15 we had two channels on TV - BBC & ITV, no phone, a one-tube mono 2 watt record player, never heard of fast-food & walked most everywhere. Never complained about much other than the weather & having no money.
Todays kids seem to worry about almost anything, including the latest gadgets

We obviously had way more TV and such, and had a lot of fast food, hell they served taco bell and various fast food at the school, along with pepsi and other junk food.
I forget what we were complaining about though, probably homework, and parents and teachers, but its been too long to recall it all.
As for smart phones, I dumped mine, it was a Sony something or other. My other half still has one, a Sony something or other as well, 2013 models. She has an iphone something or other as well, 2-3 models ago, but its busted, did a software update and fried itself or something.
She wants the new apple phone, but I have since talked sense into her that it way way too much and her phone works fine and was 99 bucks.
I'd be content with a flip phone from 10 years ago, basic and easy to use, all this touch screen crap I dislike with a passion.

I am not sure if its better to be a kid/teen now and have all this freedom and technology, or 20 years ago when the internet was a novelty more then a useful tool.

You should see the stuff my sisters kids ask for at Christmas, lucky if anything on their list is under a hundred bucks.

I think all the technology can help them stay in touch, but undoubtedly leads to more aggravation at the very least, up to bullying, between them. Also envy as they see what people are doing so much more.

At 15 we were crazy about text messages. No not the poxy electronic instantaneous ones, but carefully crafted folded up notes of teenage desire and angst passed to the girl or boy of our affections in class or between classes. It went on madly for a few months I recall and became a bit of craze.

Isn't that post what's known as a "critical fumble"?

No idea of what you were on about, so looked up the term, and it appears to be some D&D related geekery perhaps similar to an unforced error at break point in tennis? But I do like the term, surprised it isn't used widely or if it is that I haven't heard it before. TIL

I had to upgrade to a $100 plan (Sasktel Ultimate 100) but can always change without penalty. I get unlimited data Canada wide (download speed slows after 15 G) unlimited talk text and long distance but I hardly use the long distance and don't text a lot. Time to start calling people!

I think Gozit had a birthday...? Not that it makes that particular suggestion less creepy, but don't want to deprive the poor lad of another year
