Shawn the Sheep is by far and away the best programme on TV...totally agree...brilliant!

Bodyguard was good...but disappointing at the end.....I felt...the winter is making me blue...please give me good suggestions!

I just watched (having loved the book) The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and wasn’t a bit disappointed, really good!

We've just watched Harlots, it's on Britbox. Really enjoyed it.

Watched the third season of "The Last Kingdom" on Netflix - based on the series of books by Bernard Cornwell. Really good, everything seems to be have been stepped up a level from the second series - production values, script, tension etc. Worth watching if you like a bit of sword play!

I'm loving Patriot. It's proving quite the mini-masterpiece.

A really good companion piece to Killing Eve.

I tried to watch the Little Drummer Girl. I feel dumb as could not understand it all. I am going to give it another shot and see what I missed.

Weird thing with le Carré. I liked the TV series TTSS and Smiley's People and I remember enjoying it again but the TTSS movie, with an impressive cast did absolutely nothing for me.

I know I've seen the movie of Little Drummer Girl so maybe I won't like the TV version.

As for not knowing what's going on, it's the same for me with le Carré's Russia House. Lovely movie but I haven't a clue.

Really liked Occupied. After a while you don't notice you're reading the subtitles.

I might have mentioned it before, but a bit of advice for anyone watching non-english language shows such as Dark, Money Heist, Occupied, The Bridge, etc... Don't listen with the english audio, go with original language audio and english subtitles. After about 30 seconds of the english audio on Money Heist and Dark we had to switch, it just didn't sound right, as in the acoustics did not match, and it's obvious as to why that was, but made it hard to listen to.

I would never even consider it purely from it never being quite in sync. I can't take it seriously.

We subscribe to both Acorn and Britbox, Acorn has a lot of Australian content now. Neither of them switch things up very much and there is a lot of really old stuff on them, I wouldn't say it's really good for either of them, I do like that I can watch Casualty every week (Britbox) without hunting youtube for it.

Thanks.....I see that A Place to Call Home is on which some family members have recommended. Best Australian show I watched was Dreamland (aka Utopia)
