well OINK i find it strange you don't know what I am passionate about. ?? I am passionate about the destruction of the UK. have to say I was one of the ones that rubbished it in the sense of immigration ( and i don't apologise for it) the health service, schooling ect: could go on and on, and yet I feel to a certain extent guilty , its like the rats fleeing a sunken ship. I am not proud, and actually feel we shoud be doing something to help?? OK enough of the depressing posts, but thats the way it is, now look I have had a bottle of wine tonight, lovely, so goodnight to all, wish you all a lovely year,week, day whatever, this is the first nice glass of wine I have had in a long time, loving it!!!!!

well lets get to it name names??, thats what its all about, if you are not happy with someone, then it is your right to say so and if neccessary report them. I have no problem with that, my argument is I have found the modetators on this forum very one sided and am perpared to stand by that. I actually find some of them unbeliveable, its become like a little boys club, who really enjoy rubbishing people just for their opinions```` is this what this forum is all about??? Am very interested to know if I am alone in this????

Funny when small minded people can't take critisism, they resort to name calling, I remember our debate team in school saying if you can't debate, then you are weak, on this forum are, people who get so frustrated they become personal, I personally found this childish, but who am I eh???? haha love this forum has broadened my horizon ??

dgjamieson, I have no idea what your issue with the moderation on this forum as you've never once bothered to come to us directly about it, or even complain about these 'posters' you seem have such an issue with.

If you have an issue with people or believe that their posts break site rules then REPORT IT!! We cannot be expected to be mind readers and I have no idea why you think we're one sided as we deal with everybody in the same manner. You don't know what goes on behind the scenes, people are warned if necessary, and you won't be privy to that. And when necessary, and when warnings are repeatedly ignored, people are banned.

And just to show that we take reported posts seriously, and apply the same site rules to everybody, I'd like to remind you that personal abuse will NOT be tolerated, and neither will public discussions about moderation.

Please take the time to re-read the site rules, paying particular attention to no. 1 and no. 14.

thank you for your reply, I personally feel there have been abuses of the system, I would like to know where I stand as I have found in the past a one sided approach to certain issues. am I allowed to say that and to whom am i allowed to complain? Is this forum allowed to be fair to the posters case or is it only (like politicans) protected no matter how unfair things seem? I really feel we need to know where we stand in this or are we "a beaten docket" in that we need not rock the boat, if that is the case then I want no part of it, as to me it would be not sa people forum? who do I compalian about moderatores who condone abuse? await your reply with anticipation???? denise

I'm afraid I do not understand what you are referring to. What abuse or abuses of the sytem are you referring to?

Everybody gets the same treatment - if you have an issue with a poster, or something somebody has said, then use the report button, otherwise we may not be aware of it. We would only take action if it breaks site rules, but if it does then the person in question will get a warning, and then a temp ban if that warning is ignored. If they persist, it will result in a permanent ban. It's really not difficult to understand, and this process is applied to everybody fairly.

You have not reported anybody for abuse, so how you can say we're being 'one sided' when we're not aware of it is beyond me! If you have an issue with a poster then feel free to report any of their posts that you feel break site rules and we will take any action necessary. If you just don't like them (but they're not breaking rules) then add them to your ignore list.

I should reiterate that you are not aware of what goes on behind the scenes. These posters that you feel are being favoured, may in fact have had warnings but you won't be aware of that.

And again, as per site rule 14, feel free to PM me or any of the other moderators (or Sue if you wish) to discuss these issues.

as I said before one of the posters on this forum has said they were going to report me!!! anyway i take your point on board, I honestly do not agree with everything you have said, but hey I am going home so probably won't be on this forum for very long!!! good luck i personally found some forums not helpfull, but aggressive and sarcastic, to the point of ignorance, now I am not on my own in this feeling. will we report it ? of course not. I have seen on some sites moderators taking the "bullies " side. now can you tell me were I go to now to report this?? I am really annoyed that you have basically said I will be banned from this forum, that is entirly up to you, but if you want this forum to progress then you need to start listening to people like me or certain sites are going to become a boys club and a joke, it that is what you want well so be it
