Re: EXFATS WEIGH IN!

:D

got weighed tonight and very happy to report another 1.5lbs off, makes a total of 6.5lbs in the last 3 weeks (amazing what you can do when you follow the plan to the letter!! lol)

although i was marginally disappointed last week with only 0.5lb loss and meant that i didn't quite make the half stone before my trip to TO tomorrow, i am just under the next stone bracket so will be arriving in TO feeling pretty svelte!! :D

and to celebrate we opened a bottle of champagne my sister brought with her (she's house- & cat-sitting for us this week :) )

healthy living everyone!! :D

I can SO identify... I wanted to fit neatly (no muffin top, no spare tyre) into my jeans ahead of our Calgary trip next week but had zero weightloss according to the scales for just over 2 weeks.

Pleased to report that yesterday the scales showed I'm down 1kg (2lbs) over last week (phew... what a relief). But that still leaves me with 7kg (14lbs) to go to my target weight.

Meanwhile I'm having to take mega doses of psyllium husks in order to keep the digestive system moving (that's my wheat addiction showing, I guess). I never have this problem when I eat half-a-loaf a day! Still on the "no bread, no baked goods, no potatoes, no rice, no pasta, no fruit, no alcohol" diet which simplifies things for me - no calorie or carb counting, etc.

thanks... ann... so excited... one more day of work and then OH and I can pretend it's a second honeymoon... even though we're actually only going to set up the house for winter and do chores and stuff.

OH (who is almost always the most perfect husband in the world) has made me promise I'm not going to "be on a diet" while we're in Calgary... a) on the grounds that I "don't need to lose any weight at all" because of course in his eyes I'm perfect (awww!)...
and b) that he doesn't want me to be "faddy" when we're reliant on Subway for nourishment between hikes.

Plus... he's just announced that we've been upgraded from premium to Biz class... so I can even pretend I'm Posh for the day!

well done newshoney! :D

and there's no way i'm on any kind of weight-loss diet here in TO!! ribs, moose-chips, muffins at Timmies (well just the one so far!) :D

i'm sure it's just a phase  just reacting to eating mostly salad and veg for the last 3 weeks :D

have fun on your trip

Sorry to butt in here, (it's late and I've been tippling) but why all the focus on what pounds you've all lost? Why not tell us all what you weigh and how tall you are? (i.e. BMI).

Like anyone (except you folk) cares.

It would be much more interesting to know why your self images are so condemnatory.

Either that or a thread on healthy eating.

... or drinking. :sneaky:

I've already protested about scale-obsession and evangelized from the Temple of Barbell. :D

BMI is just as inaccurate at measuring health.

Everyone's self image is warped one way or another, isn't?

And I've already posted why I want to lose weight - and a few others have too. If you don't care then you don't have to take any notice of this thread.
