Default EXFATS WEIGH IN!

Okay so following along from the 'Biggest Loser' Thread I thought I'd kick this one off.

If you feel like it Post your goal weight loss and then your weekly successes on your usual/new weigh day. I don't think we need to know start and end weights. If you are happier doing inch loss instead of weight loss post that instead or as well as.

Most importantly eat sensibly, don't starve yourselves and don't deny yourselves either. One square of chocolate eaten slowly is as good as a bar scoffed in seconds. In fact if you are a chocoholic one square of 70% cocoa stuff is supposed to satisfy your craving better than a whole 500g bar of milk choccy.

Oh and lets all have fun doing this thing! Another thing, if you eat something that is really yummy and good for you let us know and we can all try new stuff too!

Right I will have Friday as my Weigh day, as that is when I am having my 1st induction day at Curves.

I want to Lose about 50lbs. I say about becuase I may lose 50lbs and then decide another 10 has to go or I may find that losing 45lbs with my new excersise routine will give me my target figure.

I have lost 29lbs so far (not bad for week one, eh? )

Just totted up my measurements and am delighted to report (ok, I'm showing off - I'm so thrilled) that I have reduced my silhouette as follows:

Chest: 4 inches
Waist: 6 inches
Hips: 4 inches
Thighs: 2.25 inches
Calves: .5 inch
Biceps: 1.5 inches

Total of 22.5 inches!

My aim is to lose a further 20lbs (ish) to go from "flabulous to fabulous"

See ya next week - Good luck peeps!

Ooh - I don't think I've got the stomach (no pun intended) to measure all my bits !! But I suppose that is a good idea - and then I too can show off having lost inches over the coming months !!

OK - I'm going to pick Fridays too. Tomorrow is the start of rest of my slim, svelte, flab-u-less life.

I could probably do with losing 2-2 1/2 stone but I haven't weighed anywhere near that since I was 19. So I'm going for a (hopefully) more achievable 20 lbs and see what happens after that !!

On your marks, get set ....... (that's me going for a run, that is ... well, a fast walk, anyway ... ).

ive lost 2 stone 5lbs since march and i want to lose another stone and a half as yet. ive lost 2 inches from my bust, 3 inches from my waist and 3 inches from my hips. i joined an aerobics class and walk for a minimum of 2 hours a day (managed 4 hours 30 mins yesterday), the dogs are loving it and have also lost loads of weight. my weigh in day is thursdays, and this is also my cheat day (obviously have the cheat after ive been weighed). feel sick now as ive just scoffed a load of chocolate.

You should be thrilled, that really is very good!

I watch X-weighted and they don't lose half as much as that in inches despite being on the TV!

Yep, I'd better join in too since I've got about 60 lbs to lose, all put on since last September too.

I can't start until after this weekend so I will report progress on Fridays, but starting next Friday cos we're off camping this weekend and we're having Burrittos tomorrow evening with all the trimmings! and....and....I'm going to have some alcohol too, and then eggs and bacon for breakfast on Saturday.....so not really an ideal weekend to start a diet on!

Thanks!

I don't drink much but I do like sangria.

Anyway, I've just weighed myself and I appear have put the best part of a stone on over the last month or two.....

Never mind, I will just have to concentrate!

Great weight loss flip flop, just hope I'm as successful! Are you doing some sort of programme or just going it alone?

Morning all

There are some great weight loss's already by some of you, certainly inspiring & motivating - well done to you all

Great seeing the inches come off Calgal - well done (gonna do the same )

Well i'm setting my goal at 3 stone (42lbs) & hope to loose 1-2lbs a week, which I understand is a sensible & realistic amount to loose a week & Thursdays will be my 'weigh day'.

Any tips & suggestions for next weekend, we have a friends 40th Birthday to go to - i've already volunteered to drive (will keep me off the booze), any others

Keep up the good work everyone

My target is somewhere between 14 and 20lbs (about 7-9kg) which I gained over a year after tearing a knee ligament (excuse for giving up all exercise except s*x )

So I've been on lo-carb for three weeks, livened up only by allowing myself a couple of glasses of wine with my dinner on the grounds that anaesthetising the appetite works. So far have lost only 2kgs (4lbs) in spite of not using the car and walking to and from the bus stop for my journey to work.

Sample menu: soya latte for breakfast, chicken/tuna mayo with lettuce leaves for lunch, seabass with stir-fried mixed greens for supper.

OH however has lost 10lbs already and he gets to eat bread and pudding. So not fair.
