Not so good this week  stayed the same - but suppose that's better than a gain

Just heard on the radio that 'wispa' chocolate bars a back in the shops - not really got a sweet tooth, but from what I remember of them they were nice & it's made me want to try one

Oh well, miso soup & rice cakes for lunch ;)

Hope you're all doing well Expats

I also lost a couple of stone at SW and went for a year or so but then lost the plot and gained 4 stone!

I'm using Weight Watchers, it is the only one that has ever worked for me; only interupted by having babies! 23 lbs lost 20 lbs to go!!!

Good luck to everyone trying - keep up the hard work.:o

Sh**, still no weight loss this week, in spite of continued half-starving PLUS total abstinence from alcohol PLUS colonic irrigation (I'm still blushing about that one).

I'm beginning to wonder what on earth is going on, given that I'm ingesting less than half the cals/carbs compared to a month ago. Lost 1kg two weeks in a row and then nothing... nada... zip.

Feeling quite disheartened but, fortunately, not tempted to attack chocolate bars to improve mood. I would step up the exercise but my energy levels are low from overwork and not much fuel. I wish someone would invent an instant metabolism-booster pill.

well despite munching my way through lots of chocolate, (that is pretty much all I've eaten mind you!) I managed to lose 1lb this week! Must be all that crawling about in the basement, moving boxes etc!

I am sure the Galaxy will be back to bite me in the a**e next week!

Maybe measure your waist - we were always told that sometimes you lose inches not pounds....plus it could have been water. A lot of fluid goes in the 1st few weeks and then it plateaus.

Well according to the scales this afternoon I've lost 1 lb but I haven't been making the effort that I made a couple of years ago when I was on the Slimming world diet.

I am at the gym 3 times a week, which will help with my shape even if I don't actually lose much weight, but I need to find the elusive motivation and focus on the right kind of eating to properly lose the weight that I need to lose. I know what I've got to do......just gotta do it!

Ditto Arris - no loss this week - but to be honest, it's no wonder. Not concentrated and have had a very 'bready' week ! And not enough exercise full stop. Onwards and upwards ...

It's a start Robin !

And don't we all !! I bet between us we're experts on a whole host of diets, healthy eating plans and exercise regimes. It's just actually doing them that is the tough bit !!! :o

Just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to everybody:thumbsup: Wether you have lost, stayed the same or even gained a little we're all still doing something which is a good thing.

I STILL haven't been weighed or measured but I am still trying to eat sensibly and I can touch my toes when I do the stretch where you sit on the floor and try to touch your toes. Couldn't do it 2 weeks ago - a good 3 inches from managing that, so Curves must be doing something for me:thumbsup:

I have just read through this and noticed that all of the posters are ladies. As a guy I have always wondered about the female obsession with weight. Why do you all care so much and why do you think guys care so little ?

Before you quote "the media" at me, wouldn't it just be easier not to read those magazines ???

I really am curious - not just intending to inflame things
