There is a brilliant add here, he gives up x and loses ten pounds, she gives it up and loses nothing, he gives up xx and loses, she gives up xx and loses nothing etc. Little cartoon figures round lady and man getting skinnier and skinnier - she shouts something like "Stop! You wanna weigh zero?"

It's an add for a weight loss pill or something, some clever soul will know what it's for and remember what it's called.:o

Great weight loss flip flop, just hope I'm as successful! Are you doing some sort of programme or just going it alone?

hi piff poff, yes im doing rosemary conley diet and fitness club. you have to count the fat content, you can have anything as long as its no more than 5% fat per 100 grams. got to say ive tried weight watchers, slimming world and others and i feel that its about finding what suits you. good luck to all of you. xx

That sounds as thought it's pretty easy to follow! I will do the one at Curves when it starts - it's a six week thing, If I don't get along with it or it's too complicated I will do the 5% thingy, sounds nice and straight forward.

Ok... so it was THAT time of the month... but still, not 1kg, not even 1lb off this week. Scales totally static... am considering colonic irrigation.

Hey can I join - I have the correct requirements (am suitably fat) and wish to lose 40 ish pounds (3 stone). I have been really bad today (just ate half a jelly with fruit and the remainder of a carton of cream:eek:) so will start tomorrow.
I will weigh in on Fridays - wish me luck:thumbsup:

Hi, sorry to hear about your STS (stay the same), but dont give in, hopefully you will be doubly rewarded for all your hard work next week.

I wish.. but it never works out that way... in fact today I hopped on the scales (I know, I know... one shouldn't do it more than once a week) and I appear to have gained 1lb (water retention, I tell myself).

[QUOTE=Piff Poff;5335746]Okay so following along from the 'Biggest Loser' Thread I thought I'd kick this one off.

Ok, so I'll sign up for that. Being trying hard now for 6 months, managed 22 lbs so far, but have got stuck over the last six weeks. Only got 21 to go!!:curse:
So I'll go for a Monday weight; that way I'll have to be careful over the weekend (my downfall), keep you posted +/-!
Be back on Monday!

Re: EXFATS WEIGH IN!

Well, just done 3rd Curves workout and asked when the weight loss programme was going to start. Not for a couple of months:curse:

Why when I signed up did they say in a couple of weeks?

If I give 3 names and #'s I'll get the book that goes with the weight loss programme. Doesn't help me much.:curse: So she is going to help me keep a food diary and do weekly weigh ins for me - not expecting any great losses just yet - Oh I'm MAD!

So I think I'll attempt to stick to the less than 5grams of fat thingy.

I bought the book once... I think it's pretty much like every other low GI diet (Atkins, South Beach etc.) - basically protein and veg about 5 times a day.

go girl, you know what the main thing is just to eat healthy and exercise more, oh and have a cheat at least once a week. its just common sense really, we all know this so why is it we find it so hard?

Cream Cakes or common sense, when your sad, tired and hungry......
Pizza or common sense, when your stressed and tired.....
Take outor common sense, when it's late and your too tired to cook....

Just a few reasons why it's so hard.

Like tonight for example - I'm knackered, I don't fancy eating anything (all I've had today is 3 cuppas and a medium no fat, no sugar vanilla latte that a friend brought round - I know it's really bad and I have only had 1/2 a glass of water which makes it all really worserer in my best English.

I have nothing defrosted some homemade tomato soup I can heat up - but Hubby won't want that, daughter has just made herself cheesy mac for supper (guess she thought she ought to cook something as Mum doesn't look like she's going to produce anything anytime soon:unsure:).

I've taken the Dog for 2 walks, been to Curves and supervised daughter on her first night of her paper route so the excersise is there - just the food thing missing today:(
