My thoughts were what if we were already in Canada, but these things are meant to try us and we get through them. Hope all goes ok for you.

I probably gained 500 stone through sloth, alcohol and wake food. As you know, I don't use scales but I developed a magnificent case of muffin top. But things are getting back to normal as other things get back to normal... I think you'll be fine Piff Poff as you seem highly motivated.

If you need a kick in the bum later, just ask.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Peas!

Flip Flop - I can't stop thinking of saveloys now We are also going to be able to have a yummy kebab from our favourite kebab shop. What will be interesting is if we find these things yummier than poutine

Emmabell, I hope you son is ok, enjoy your glass of wine - I'll probably have a little tipple later too.

Where did everyone go?

Has everyone given up?

I haven't been to be weighed since I got to Canada, but I'm going this week; not looking forward to that at all, but if I dont I'm going to keep inflating, I blame Tim Hortons!

Anyone out there with inspiration?

Weight watchers today, and surprise......3 and half pounds off. Was well pleased and have been sucking lozengers all week as had really bad cold etc....and not been to gym.
So thats cleared the 4 pounds I put on over christmas. Total now is 10 pounds.......just four to go for the first stone.
I have though, got rid of christmas cake......literally and all other christmas bits lying around, so theres nothing to pick at now. Also had a go at Adzuki beans, as supposed to be a good source for loosing weight, made some burgers with them and they were really nice.
So its back on track and just got back from the gym.....
Good news stories should start coming in now, so come on Ex F's we can do it

Oooh! I wasn't! I was being a piggy

I was eating food items I knew I may not see again for a very long time - that custard tart was yummy! I didn't stuff myself silly though (apart from on the 2 kebab nights) - that's something I would have done in the past.

Hi Piff Poff - how are you enjoying (?) Curves - I am tempted to join our local one but don't know too much about how it works.
