Re: Coronavirus
Seems it only took a few hours after the province said fines would be coming for someone to hold a party and not follow the rules.
And the host was warned before police resorts to issuing a fine, but when place came back later that night, the party had gotten bigger.
Many of the party attendees were youth according to police.

That reminded me of my City's enforcement policies - and the statistics.. shame other places don't publish the same! I know a few who should have got a warning .. and some that should do soon.

They didn't learn, police had to attend to the same apartment early Sunday morning, this time with 15 people at the party, one person was arrested and fined $200 + $30 victim surcharge.

Ha ha did you see that they raided the same condo apartment building in Victoria again for a second night and broke up a party and fined a guy who wouldn't move on. Unbelievable.

Regarding Schools reopening around the world, Chris Whitty seems to think that the slight increase in transmission will not necessarily come from kids passing to their parents, but from adults passing it to other adults as a result of the schools being open.
For example, parents meeting at the school gates at drop off time, teachers talking to parents etc.
It's worth a watch.

Re: Coronavirus
Apparently there is one study that suggests kids under 5 can be highly infectious to other people.
""Children ages zero to five can be "highly infectious to other people. It turns out they have a thousand times more virus in their nose than you need to infect, so they're very, very contagious," said William Haseltine, a former professor at Harvard Medical School during an interview Monday on CNN."

I do wonder what they consider as Well-ventilated public transit system though, not sure I would want to be crammed into a subway car or bus because I don't consider what the typical bus or train has here as being well ventilated but masks are not largely required on public transit so that should help with reduce risk.

This is completely contradictory to what the UK Chief Medical advisor says in the video at the 1 min mark. No wonder people are confused.

Oh for sure, I can't on a good day keep track of it all, one country says this, another that, one study say this, another that, and I am certain in plays a role in how people react.
