I am somewhat intrigued as to how these are benefiting potential immigrants. Have not seen any comment or reviews from these folk, would be interested to know what they think. It seems locals are less than impressed.

Now THIS IS a shopping Mall ' ' 'drool http://uk.westfield.com/london/
Bluewater and the Trafford centre are more my scene. I know people who dislike malls/shopping centres completely but it is nice to have everything under one roof as they say.

I only like it because two month's ago some one randomly asked me for directions to it and I actually knew. It was one of those rare moments I felt like I "belonged".
You can also get your hair cut in the viccinity for $8 all in.

That's the one. There is a Canada Service in there too.

I did some Christmas shopping at Westfield. It's nice and new but very much designer brands with their own stores. I guess I'm saying it was a little too posh and trendy for myself.

Here's an Observational video, from the point of view of me, Mr. Magnumpi, who lives outside Toronto, of what i think is a hidden gem.
The St Martin in the Fields Church of Canada is located on the west side of Toronto near Keele and Bloor. If you just drive by on Keele Street the church is not visible, only the little entry can be seen from the road.
It reminded me of a village church near where i lived in Auburn, nr Lincoln. The church is actually located in a hollow, and surrounded by apartment buildings and residential housing. (the church is obviously not a hidden gem to those who live near the church, or even in the surrounding area) but to someone such as myself, an outsider to the city, who only visits 5 days a week, well it is.
Maybe a mr or mrs mod could change the heading for this thread to be more specific, something like:
My Observational videos of the GTA and surrounding area's from someone who don't live in Toronto but does spend a lot of time there recreationally and for work.
