A short film showing a flash of lightning that looked like it had touched down on an apartment building near the 401 & Morningside Scarborough, Ontario.

A Truck & Trailer tried a U turn and crashed into the power lines east of Toronto today, in a quiet residential street in Pickering.
Fire, Police and Hydro all helped to free the truck. The pole however was not so lucky.

Dufferin Mall, West Toronto
The Dufferin Mall is located on the west side of Toronto, near Bloor Street West and Dufferin Street. This is a great place to shop, we also leave our car on the parking lot here
and go further into town. All very handy for that shopping spree in down town TO.
Also located here is the Service Canada office, on the south east side exit of the Mall.

There is a service canada office in Century Place in Belleville, but that doesnt make it a place worth going to shop...

The Dufferin Mall and the surrounding area is well worth a visit though. IMO.
Go to Honest Eds emporium, Near Bloor n Bathurst, looks like Vegas at night.
Don't be too critical,
as you can be, it is just a suggestion.RICH: I use a small covert camera on a keychain, the size of a car remote. Hence why the video is to sometimes at a low height. (I Don't like filming openly inside stores and malls)

The Service Canada office at Dufferin Mall represents, to me, hell. Ok a bit of an exaggeration perhaps, but spending 5 hours sitting on the floor in a packed waiting area to get a new SIN on your only day off, well that's fairly grim.
Now, when I think of Dufferin Mall, I think of Walmart and a very numb arse.
I hope that is of some help to those considering a move to Toronto.
