It's not hard, just weird, you passed umpteen malls with transit to get there. Granted only the Welfare Mall on Gerrard has the same ambience as the Dufferin Mall but they all have shops, pretty much the same shops. Why not stop at, say, the Scarborough Town Centre?

If staying in the same spot/area 24/7 is good for you then thats fine by me, im not telling you to get out and go somewhere, and i would not, i am not like that.
So can you just accept that we are weird and we go out, we do go to different places, all the time. It's what we do, we go out, we don't go to the same place, because we don't, weird i know? you may, and thats fine, not weird in the least, just fine.
Sorry if this confuses you.

We been to the Yorkdale Mall too, weird ehh, and we took my wife cousin, double weird....

As someone who has been in a mall maybe once a decade, yes, I find that to be extraordinary. Not criminal nor morally wrong, but odd in a "I've just become a Mormon" kind of way. Do you expect to go into a mall again?

Yes thank you, as often as need be, usually every other day with work, now that is strange i know, voluntarily with family, well almost every week end.
If you have only been in a Mall once? were do you do xmas shopping, at the beer store and gas station?
Sometimes we go to other places too, but thats for another time dbd.

Once a decade. That'd be three times in Canada though I've also been to malls in the US and haven't counted them. I do go to shops and markets and, of course, to the internet. Last year I did my physical Christmas shopping at MacTamneys.

In four years I have been to
Peterborough Lansdowne Mall
Peterborough Portage Mall
Cobourg Mall
Yorkdale
The Eaton Centre
Pickering Mall, or was it Ajax? Noo, could have been Oshawa
Oo and one at the top of Bayview, I met Novo there for a coffee.
(why not get the GO train from Pickering, considering the environment and all that)

We already know this. What I find troubling about your posts and videos is that you have chosen (rather arrogantly) to present them as images of everyday life in Toronto. As dbd rightly suggests for many (most?) of us living here (in Toronto as opposed to Pickering!), they bear no relation whatsoever to our lives. Perhaps if you lived in Toronto they might have some validity. As is they are rather sad and creepy. I keep thinking of One Hour Photo when I see the videos....

Why would i have to live in center of Toronto to film anything there, it's not even aimed at you, or anyone who lives here, friends i have back in Blighty have not even been in a mall, only the Traford center or Asda.
From what i read in your other post you live at Jane and Finch, not exactly central Toronto either is it.

I have been to the mall in Milton Keynes! I arrived from here on a flight that landed first thing in the morning and couldn't get into to my hotel until the afternoon. I tried to sleep in the hire car in the mall car park but it was a Jag and had a motion sensor, every twitch or thrash set off the alarm. Failing at sleeping, I wandered into the mall where the original Hulk, Lou Ferry-something was signing autographs. I thought I'd been whisked in a trice back to the mall in Elizabeth NJ.

And no - I don't live at Jane and Finch, but I do have involvement with the community there - which is why I found your other post so offensive.

They had those star things there quite often. I was all excited in a nerdy Star Treky way once cos William Shatner was there but I was not nerdy enough to pay 50pounds for his autograph.

I also spend plenty of time in that area, to much bloody time, and enough time in Toronto, at least 8-10 hour a day on the street 3-4 times a week, so i have the right to film a simple mall, a bus or two, a rib fest and say, this is a mall, a bus a rib fest ect.
WOW how hung up are you dude. Post a pic of the things you find good in TO, and stop moaning all the time. Also anyone with there "own" videos of Canadian life lets see it and get an overall view.
We will be in Ottawa in two weeks, so i will be filming there, even though i don't live there. Gosh is that guna be allowed.
Edit: I did take on board what you where saying last time, ive stopped filming all the bad parts, of which there are loads and i enjoy filming them more that the nice places. I have a 2min video of the St Martin in the fields, church of Canada, near Keele and Bloor, a hidden gem you must agree.

The best mall in Toronto I'd say is Yorkdale. But it is nice to head to the Eaton Centre because you also have the opportunity to head to the stores down Queen street also aswell as grab a pint.
The more depressing malls for me are Gerrard Cross and Eglinton Square but both definately the most convenient from where I am.

. Yeh you do have to drive to go places, thats why its called, D. R. I. V. I. N. G.
