Now, for once, you have made a breakfast I would love to sit down and eat. Did you heat up the salsa?

That sounds like my sort of brekkie, as did the one you had yesterday, as long as the bacon is crispy and hold the salsa.

Those last 3 little potatoes I used for chips yesterday made twice as much as I needed, and since I had 2 little carrots left in the crisper, and 2 mushrooms, and because I prepared 2 pouches of corned beef instead of one for my sandwich (ok, it was premeditated), corned beef hash and Frank's Red Hot it is.

My favourite would be several crispy bacon sandwiches, or a large mushroom/onion/bacon omelette.

Edit: Instead I settle for a low fat yogurt with slivered almonds mixed in. Gotta feed the bones!!

Yeah, that's what I had too. Low fat yogurt and some, um, steamed kale with a poached omega 3 free range egg on it. Love that kale.

Imo kale isn't safe to eat for anything with only one stomach.

What’s wrong with this? Kale, carrot, chicken breast.

My late grandfather called all soup "kail". To him, the only type of soup was broth, and kail is a Scots word for broth. It presumably originates from when the poor lived on cabbage broth.

"Whit's fir tea the nicht, Mary?"
"A guid plate o' kail."
"Braw!!"
