No reason at all for their weight stopping them working.

I carry a wee (?!) bit extra, but it's never stopped me working. In Scotland I was a full time teacher, since moving here I work in a shop that requires me to lift and move furniture. Every month we have to unload a 53ft truck of stock, usually only 3/4 of us (normally all female). So if I can manage 5 solid hours of unloading a truck (in minus temps for the last few months) followed by 3 hours of unpacking and building furniture, then they can manage a few hours down at Asda.

I feel sorry for the daughters though - what ambition are they being given in life being brought up by parents who think that their lifestyle is acceptable.

This family is obviously from the bottom end of the gene pool. The fact that they would allow themselves to be so exposed suggests such to me. Their weights, while excessive, are really not the issue. They are all obviously lazy, without morals and content to sponge off the British taxpayers. They are facilitated in their actions by the UK Government which pays this ridiculous amount to them. They, of course, are all filled with the entitlement attitude.

your right and you know the government is always going to bugger money up and pay to people like them or those who refuse to stop breading like rabbits so they can get bigger house and more money out of the taxpayers. they get away with it and so think they have done no wrong or just flat out dont care

I actually feel really sorry for the daughters.

They've obviously been brought up with low expectations of life and no ambition. They've been told that their weight is genetic and given no education as to the benefits of exercise and diet. They've been taught that there is no need to make an effort as society owes them a living. They actually believe it's outside factors, and not their families actions, that are responsible for the fact that they are overweight, unhealthy and out of work. What chance do they have?

It's nothing less than child abuse, to bring your kids up with that view of themselves and the world.

Oh come on, she won't last. Her mum will tell her not to bother going to work when it gets tough. After all, the social will cough up, won't it?
:curse:

Well said, it's not their weight thats an issue. It's their lack of morals, as you so rightly pointed out....

Yes. The phrase in the article "The family from Blackburn..." is kind of a giveaway...
