I called up DIAC and found out that my application is with CO for initial assessment. There is no change on the online status page, since 6/4 when my SS was added to my application.

Hoping to hear from the CO soon.

Hye congrats, that such a wonderful news! you have granted your Visa.
How about the background checks. It seems your county is very efficient replying back to DIAC or may be you are the lucky one and waived the BC.I think you are the only one on 886 who got visa so far on this forum now its cath76 turn .

This morning we received an email.
We have an other CO, now they again request the same additional information and a photo from the main applicant.
The documents on the status page are changed to MET for the main applicant. So there is progress.....again.

no , processing further does not mean you have a case officer, sorry to bear bad news but it just means your application has moved or been looked at in someway, this has been asked many time in here and the answer is always the same.
