I guess by the moment all of us should have a case officer.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything from mine. No changes in my status as well.

We applied on 1 Jan 2009 for 176 visa.

Hi there, we applied 176 visa August 31st 2008 and got our case officer on 23rd January 2009. Go for medicals next week. Good luck, hopefully you'll hear soon.

Hi, we applied during april 2008 , 176 visa till date no news of a CO..

We applied 28.1.09 and got an email from our case officer on 9.2.09!! All our documents say met except medicals and police checks. We had our medicals last Friday and they are on their way and police checks were ordered 2 weeks ago.

Very excited and amazed at the speed of it all

Hi, I applied 176 on 1st January 2009. No CO yet but my state asked for a clarification yesterday about my nominated occupation and told that it is DIAC query.
Any clue?

We applied for 475 visa on 17th July 2008. Still no news of when we are likely to get a CO!!!!! Fingers crossed they will be true to their word and we will hear before the end of February!!!

to all still without CO: we'll get them anyway. though the DIAC announced that everybody with state sponsorships were allocated to CO. I really hope they just didn't have time to start working on our applications.
however, I sent an enquiry to DIAC asking what's the problem, where my CO is . It was on Monday. Still no reply from them...

can you tell what they asked exactly? which state?
maybe the state changed its list of nominated occupations?

HI All, Good news for all who got a CO up till now, and hopefully not long for the rest of you who are still waiting. We got our CO on the 2nd Feburay, we did xrays today, Medicals and police check to do next, booked in for our Meds on the 2nd of March, so trying to keep everything moving, along with day to day life.

For those apparently without a CO yet - me included - it may be that you have one but they don't need anything from you yet. They don't just pop an email off to say hello.

In our case I haven't finished uploading the documents yet so I am guessing that makes a difference. Maybe when the 28 days following lodgement is up or the docs are loaded (whichever comes first) they will ask about meds PCC etc.

By the way - for those on 475 - what did you send to the state (QLD) to get them to send the relevant form to DIAC after lodging?
