Hi all
Finally returned from a week of visiting family, some of which was great, some of which will NOT be visited again if I can help it
Looking forward to 2008 as so much going to happen, house ready to put on market, visa app in, meds finalised - so hoping we will get the visa sometime next year, just don't know when!
Fingers crossed for all of us, and will hopefully start to see more progress on the October applicants in Jan/Feb.

Anyone had any news?
Feeling really positve at the moment as I'm sure that 2008 will be the year we get to move to Oz (lots of crossed fingers!)

A friend of mine who applied on the 17th Oct got her pre grant mail on the 28th Dec. She's in Aus on a 457. Do you think that'll make things go faster?

Not sure if already being in Oz on 457 would make the 175 any quicker but nice to think we may start to have some progress in the October thread soon

It does make difference if some one applies from on shore for a offshore visa.
