Hi everyone

Like to join your gang of hopefuls, as you can see i was, as a carpenter, on the CSL but fate has cruelly removed me from it, bummer!!
A couple of questions if i may, firstly can anyone check there status on the immi website if they did a paper application & secondly as i am still on the MODL list do i have a chance of getting my VISA this Millennium!!!

Only online applicants can see their status on immi website and secondly be sure that every one will get VISA , only we need to have patience.

got our visas last friday .. wohooooo .. it feels awesome .. wifey and I have been constantly talking and planning our future lives in oz .. have until Feb 2010 to enter .. will start preparing for phaze II .. job search which wont be easy at all .. but then what isnt hard is not worth doing ..

We are planning of moving to Sydney .. we hope to move as soon as one of us finds a job ..although I have been told that it is very tough to get a job without physically being there .. will try for a couple of months and then decide if I want to take the risk..

Maverick, congo to both of you. I have been following your app as i too have applied as Java specilist along with my wife. My lodgement was on 26/4/09, clear 5 months after yours. going by the grapewine, DIAC is processing each months apps on a weekly basis. So it would mean about another 5 weeks from now i should see some progress on mine.
One could Call it optimism or call it wishful thinking..doesnt matter, just trying to keep the sprits high.
By the way, any definite way to know if and when a CO is assigned your case?
