Hello Guys,

I have noticed that DIAC is finalizing Computing Professionals on priority now a days. All of the applicants from pakistan who have been granted visas were all Computing Professionals.

I am curious to know about other CSL applicants who have been waiting for more than 14-15 months. Any comments...

I am waiting for more than 14 months for my grant and still no request for medical and PCC from DIAC I am also computer professional. any comment regarding this will be appreciated. Intellect ur case is very much similar to me.

Congratulations, you have granted visa in a very short time in comparison to grant history of Pakistani applicants. So thank God and pray for all those who are still waiting.

Really remarkable pace of finalization in just 8 months. Hope this continue for rest of applicants too, But I am little bit worried about other occupations( ex CSL) as uptill now grants are issued only to IT/NEC occupations

hi,on april 30 2010 status for my online visa is changed to "Application being processed further" ,does this mean now a case officer will be assigned,can u tell me if thts true then how time they take as till now no case officcer is assigned

another thing this july i got reassesment for my skills under MODL,CSL (2231-79,oracle spec),can u tell me now how much time DIAC will take to process visa ,pls help,need some guidance

application further process doesn't mean that you assign a case officer unless you receive an official email from you CO. Time line is varry for every case. Its better lodge a PLE.

Ok wow! so we are in same boat,but can u help in understanding problem in my case,i have reassed skills this july and so intimated DIAC,now in oracl spec and so in MODL,CSl.
My concern is now how much time DIAC will take,i had applied visa in june 2009.

its my gut feeling that recent visa grants from Pakistan were mostly in IT field...i didn`t see any offshore Engineer in the list!!!
is there any???
does it reflect those special priority annoucements for NEC and IT guys???

I have the same observations and if it is true than GOD knows the fate of log awaiting may'09/June'09 PK applicants from other categories ( old CSL). However one seems to be PK guy on gettingdownunder forum is engineer but his case details are missing, he got approval in 10 months.
