pre grant letter means CO first confirm the initial entry date from candidate whether someone able to enter australia on that date. In my case IED would by 15-Dec-2010 as it will be my PCC expiry date.

May 2009 applicate
CO Nov 20009 request for Form 80,PCC & Med
PCC & Med sent on 21st Dec 2010
Pre Grant Letter received on 29th July

-Yes in next week process will be complete inshallah.
-Last time I sent form 80 in March due to some missing information.
-If you external check procedure is already started then they wont ask about form 80 any more.

Could you tell me that how many different cities you have been living in past 10 years and number of family members i.e.,parents and siblings (that we mention in Form 80). I am asking for having an idea about Form 80 checks time in your case. Thanks.

Then its better to snooze for 3 months ......

application was paper based but all other correspondence after application is done by emails. They request you for documents by email and you send scanned documents by email to your CO. And finally you get a grant letter in form of a PDF document which is attached to the email.

This is something new to me. Me and all of my friends simply got the grant letter. No one confirmed the entry date from us.
