Default June 2009 Visa Applicants

Our main visa application is ready to rock 'n roll. Hoping to get our ACS results soon! It's the only thing holding us up.

Anyone else applying this month?

hi.
We are just waiting for ACS letter. Was going to start filling in online visa today ready for the hopefully positive letter.
How long approx does it take to fill in online. I am thinking we are pretty straight forward applicants ie, lived in UK all our lives married for 10 years 3 kids all of us fit and healthy. What do you think or am I a bit nieve thinking the filling in process is going to be easy??

4 months! how come it took that long if you don't mind me asking? Anotherthing I was meant to ask is can I go back to saved pages if I need to to fill in any missing bits or recheck I have filled in correctly before submitting?

I started the online application after i sent my ACS application. But later when the result came, ACS has assessed me against Dot Net technologies whereas i applied for Data warehousing specialisation. Then i made appeal and ACS sent me positive result for data warehousing. In the meanwhile, i had completed my application. So it took me 4 months from start of application to finally submit it.

The point u make submission with payment is considered time of application. For trades, 5 band for each sections of ielts required.

Its better to apply before hand along with ur complete family. You should not waste time and make their passports at earliest.

You can later make changes in ur application even after 28 days and before the allocation of CO by using circumstance change form.. but i dont think it is applicable to your case.

yes, u r correct,

but i think after entring a wrong passport number/dates for submission of online application. i will not be allowed to make these type of changes by by using circumstance change form,

what is procedure of adding family at later/approval stage, i think they ask on approval that should u want to add ur family at this stage,

but there will be a more wait for this purpose.

any helpfull tip which u have seen during thiss all process

best regards

FINALLY.... I got my results from the ACS submitted in January!!

I have been found acceptable for 2231-11 Systems Manager. All my papers are done and ready for the Final visa part and my family sponsor in Australia has sent his papers so we are all ready to submit.

Now I just need to save a grand for the fee.
