Re: Wrong forms sent
Hey All,
My CO had asked for Form 80 for me and my spouse. I as an "impatient" OZ aspirant sent a wrong set of form 80 for my spouse.I had kept these for my own reference. It contained wrong signatures. I know that was the silliest thing on my part to do when people re-check their work like a zillion times before they send it to the CO .
I have re-sent my doc requesting them to consider the new sets of doc and not the old ones.
I hope I have not messed up everything at the last step. Somebody please tell me "Its no big deal and people do mess up things" . I hope DIAC will consider my request.
Anyone has any thoughts ???

Re: Wrong forms sent
It's not a big issue mate.. stuff like these happen all the time.. in most cases even worst.. I uploaded a wrong edu cert by mistake (all this after going tru a million times to ensure I uploaded the docs correctly!!) and sent the CO an email to inform.. replied that it was sorted... put it this way.. the COs are used to 'idiots' like us..

Hi Julie,
Oh, one question. How do you know whether your Medical has been received and finalized? the same for PCC?
I have sent mine a month ago but no news from DIAC.
regards, paul.

Re: January 2009 Applicants
Have you applied online? If so go to the immi online tracker https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry...o?action=eVisa and put in your application details. It will show received on meds required if they have received it, and then finalised when passed. Mine were referred and this was shown and a date, then a date when finalised.
If you have applied on paper send a Post Lodgment Enquiry to Health Operations Centre - it's on the immi site, or on the thread on here.

Hi Julie,
Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, I applied online and have been checking the status everyday. Sigh! No change on status so far, only shows "required" and "required"

Re: January 2009 Applicants
Looks like you still don't have a CO yet. We were assigned a CO a week ago, and I have sent in doc's since then. The status of those doc's have now changed from "required" to "received", and any of the doc's that were there when the CO last looked at our file are marked as "met". We have yet to submit our Med's. As you have already submitted yours, I'd imagine you'll have a shorter time between CO Allocation and Decision.

Hi Scrudu,
That's great. At least you know your CO is updating your files. I have a CO assigned because I received the mail from him asking for medical and PCC, which I have already sent. Somehow i don't see the status being updated as I wish.
