175 Application June 2012
Hi.. Applied for a 175 online on 12-June-2012 as Accountant. IELTS 8.0 overall but 7 on all bands. 8yrs + work experience.
Awaiting a CO allocation. DIAC website shows that they are done with all applications upto 13-January-2012 but I also read on this forum that many applicants have got their CO allocated within 2 months. Any recent changes that might affect my allocation due to skill select or the capping that starts every July?
PS: All are welcome to share their application status if applied for 175 in June so we can know how we are doing on the same boat.

There's already a thread for June 2012 applicants, so I've moved your post in there.

Re: 175 Visa Applications; January - June 2012
Experts, I need your views on a question which will help me developing a clear understanding for future action items.
I am currently waiting for Case Officer to be assigned to my case but I was thinking about uploading my health & character requirements just before the case officer is expected to be assigned. I am assuming that this may bring my application quickly to the decision stage. Am I thinking it right knowing the fact that I have lodged a paper application for sub-class GSM-175?

National Police Checks - http://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/pol...ce-checks.aspx
Applicants are advised that processing delays are currently being experienced with the timeframe for completion of a standard National Police Check being approximately 25 days from the date on which the application is received by the AFP. Action is being taken to reduce the delay and return to targeted turnaround times of 15 day by the end of July 2012.

Need to know what will usually happen when the CO is assigned.
Will the CO send an email and also update the documents status online?

Nope. No-one here will be able to tell you that. If you really want that information, try making a freedom of information request to DIAC. There's information on the DIAC site on how to do that.

Hi all
Applied 175 online on 27th March 2012 as production Engineer. Received mail from CO on 30th May stating that my IELTS results (TRF) not matched with on line verification and asked to reply within 28 days. I checked this IELTS matter with test center and they sent a confirmation mail to the CO directly on 23rd June (just 4days befor the dead line). Still I havent got reply from the CO. Does it take mor time?
