Hi All,

Can anybody explain what state sponsored visa and how do u apply for one? i have lodge my application with subclass 176 ( family sponsored) and my occupation is not MODL and CSL. so i guess, i get least preference in case of processing of the application

aliza,

you can apply for state sponsorship as long as your nominated occupation is listed on your chosen state's skill list. Every state has its different skill list so you should look for a state that has your nominated occupation listed on it. Although im not so sure if you can still revise your application having same visa type (176) but different category. cheers!

Congratulations to all those who got CO allocation this week. I hope we can experience the same fate when we lodge our application by late Feb/ early March (hopefully)

Thnk so u much for ur reply Pooh. ..I am not planning to change my Visa category yet..I have faith on God that i'll get my immi soon .

Well man can't say anything for now, we can say anything when they done with state/employer sponsor applicants by 13th feb. So let see will they start allocating the CO to 175 applicants on CSL after 13th Feb.....

Employer sponsored are not proccessed at Adelaide.
