Hi All,
Can anybody explain what state sponsored visa and how do u apply for one? i have lodge my application with subclass 176 ( family sponsored) and my occupation is not MODL and CSL. so i guess, i get least preference in case of processing of the application

you can apply for state sponsorship as long as your nominated occupation is listed on your chosen state's skill list. Every state has its different skill list so you should look for a state that has your nominated occupation listed on it. Although im not so sure if you can still revise your application having same visa type (176) but different category. cheers!
