Former Current Processing Times (continued)

Re: Current Processing Times (continued)
For the fiscal year 2007-2008 there were over 23,000 visas granted that were in the CSL category (exact figure is available in the FAQ on the changes to the skilled migration program). This is many times higher than the number of state/territory sponsored visas.
Also at this time we know that DIAC will have the priority 1 applications allocated by in February, but that does not mean that they have the capacity to immediately start with the next category (as allocation is not the same as finalising a case, so there may be a significant stack of work for them to go through).
From another post it was suggested that applications that are in the next categories (CSL/MODL) will be handled per category based on the information at time of application. So it may still take significant time before an CSL application is handled.
Just my 2 cents...

I am applying under Labour agreement subclass 120. Being employed by NSW Ambulance.
I have been told that this can get processed quite quickly. Anyone got any ideas??

Depressed and Disappointed
I applied in November 2007/ paper application and that was my big fault(MODL 175)- High risk country
anyway Untill now I am not allocated to case officer and according to the new rules by DIAC, Now I am 175 CSL
15 months passed now and I sent an Enquiry 2 weeks ago and The reply we are now processing State Sponsered applications untill Late February
The quesition Now, When Will I be allocated to Case Officer?

State & Territory Nominated Applications:
Subclass 134, 136, 137, 175, 176, 475, 487, 495, 885 and 886 applications
(processed by the ASPC and where a successful State or Territory Nomination
is held) will all be allocated to case officers for assessment by 13
February 2009.
Where is 138,139 subclass...Is this mean that all 138,139 subclass got Case officers?????
