Too true, if Mairead was sitting her IELTS she'd fail miserably.

I'm not just talking about the IELTS - don't you have an agent that is "less than helpful?" What about the tooth ache, the extraction of said tooth and stitches int he gum! Plus I think your car blew a tire, then there was some engine problems. So don't feel left out - looks like you're working your mini breakdown your own way

Wow, whens my biography coming out? Sounds like a great read lol. To be honest, I'm pretty much over all of that and there was always a light at the end of the tunnell for me. But selling a house right now seems to be scary stuff.

Do what I did - tell the examiner you're 4 months pregnant! Worked for me - passed first time
(I was actually pregnant but no-one's to know!)

How do you fit that into a conversation with a tester?
'Please keep a safe distance away from that careless driver ahead'

'I wish I had thought of that 4 months ago'

Good luck Tuesday!!!! I passed mine on the 3rd attempt - nearly freaked out when i was asked if an additional examiner could sit in the back and test my examiner (this happened in my first test and i went to pieces). Anyway, i started to cry, examiner apologised for upsetting me and i ended up passing

BUT as I'm dyslexic and didn't bother telling them as you have to wait 3 months for them to arrange special consideration, I reckon it's because my spelling was dodgy in the writing section. All hail the spell check!
Your spelling is way better than mine, think i'd have done a Nige on it and failed first time

Sure! The title is "The trials and tribulations of Knockoff Nige" or "How NOT to Migrate to Australia" It'll be on the top 100 best seller list

I can see it now - the book tour - Knockoff doesn't quite make it due to car troubles, the interviews - Knockoff can't talk due to toothache, the groupies, Knockoff can't quite make it.....
