Re: Feb 2009 Applications
Note: Due to the number of applications in the above two categories, on hand and being received, applications not on the CSL, or applications without a successful State or Territory nomination, will be delayed until those applications which meet the processing priorities are finalised. This includes those on the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL)
looks like unless the whole World decides to stop applying we're stumped for a while.
Tell me about it, I should have had my application in last June...bugger!

We've done it.
Documents changed from "required" to "met" yesterday.... and today we logged on to find out that we've all been approved!
Can't believe how quick it's been....

Re: Feb 2009 Applications
Well, we had hoped to go asap. The OH is being made redundant from his bank, and things were just falling into place perfectly... nice little pay out, visa in hand etc etc etc.... and then after years of bloody trying, I've found out I'm pregnant. Only just. Due in November.
Absolutely delighted, but has seriously put a spanner in the works, as I think I'd rather be around family for the birth.
The OH has managed to get a short term contract at work, so he's now being made redundant in November.
We have to validate by February, so we'll probably go then... the baby will be about 3 months... still easy enough to manage on the long flight... (that's what I keep telling myself anyway!!)
Also, we did apply for a 176 to South Australia, even though his job was on the CSL, we just thought it would speed things up!
