Thought I'd start a new thread for all Feb applications!
Applied today for a skilled independant 175 visa with my nominated occupation as accountant. It's on the MODL list but as we're in no rush to move I haven't done the IELTS test so we won't be in the CSL fast processing group.
It's been such a long road just getting to this point it feels like quite an achievement just to apply!

I applied for the 176 family sponsored visa last weekend. I did the IELTS test last summer to add an extra 10 points to my score - just in case I needed them but it turns out I needn't have. I'm an analyst programmer. I was hoping to get everything done and dusted by September but it looks more likely now that we could be looking at January - February next year..... And that's a ball of string estimate.
But I know what you mean about that warm sense of achievement once the application is in. I felt like taking cakes into the office on Monday

Good luck with your application.
Regards,
Paul
