Hi Guys I done lot of review in various forums for CSL and Accountant. If you dont have IELTS 7 each section ur file will not be in CSL

Ur processing priority will be like this

1.State sponsered
2.CSL
3.MODL
4.Others

So hope we need to wait for CO atleast 6 months we can expect CO by end of JUNE - JULY 2009

unless big changes in FEB 15 Legislation or CSL updates

I'm an accountant-external auditor (asco code 2212-11), my IELTS IS 7.5 (L-7.5, R-8.0, W-7.0, S-7.0). Am I on CSL?

Nope, only ACCOUNTANTS (2211-11) with either a professional year in Australia OR IELTS 7.0 or higher for each subject are on CSL.

Ponzki u did mistake instead of auditor u may choose accountant ur not on CSL even though u have IELTS 7. By the way no worries same boat GSM 175 MODL Non CSL- PAPER / ONLINE wait and see

Thanks for all your replies. Yes, it was a mistake to have nominated accountant-external auditor, instead of just accountant. And this mistake is too costly....Hmmm, when will I ever get a CO??? Btw, you are all still lucky as you haven't waited as much as I had. I'm an August 2007 applicant, looks like we will hit 2 years before we get a CO.

Hi Ponzki still u lucky mate 2009 wont be a good year even in Oz too. I am GSM 175 NON CSL - MODL Accountant-FEB 2009 applicant think I may get CO after decades

I read somewhere in this forum that you can change your nominated ocupation and you can easily get a review of assessment done for Accountant again for $100 if it is ICAA. Just think about this!

Yes, I have requested and obtained another positive assessment for Accountant from ICAA after paying $100 in August also of 2007. But I have already lodged my application with DIAC as accountant-external auditor. I don't know if I can still change the nominated application in a lodged application. Does anyone know?
