Re: Feb 2009 Applications
Wow that was really really fast, congratz! You applied under the SA 475 visa right? Phew.. fast..
Its really nice to hear all the people (especially those 475'ers ) getting their COs and visa grants. It only means its all moving ahead and we're going to get ours soon

Just to confirm, we are on a 176... not even sure what a 475 is.... (is it temporary???)
Anyway, it was really quick, about 7 weeks in all...
It's such a great feeling, knowing that we can go... even if we're not going just yet!

Re: Feb 2009 Applications
Woo hoo, finally posted the TRA paperwork. I can't believe how long it has taken for me to get it all together.
I have just looked at the CSL list and thankfully dh's occupation is still on it.
I asked at our local post office over here (Tenerife) how long it will take for the mail to get to Oz, they just shrugged their shoulders so I think it is just wait and see now.
I'm so excited, can't wait.

hi lynnhou
this is the easy part.does your hubbie need anything translating for your visa?i assume you do being in tenerife,we are in france and co has asked for all our business accounts to be translated.problem is nobody wants to do it and the one that did quoted 700 euros plus vat and thats just 07 still need to get 08 accounts from the accountant.i wouldn't mind but accounts are mainly numbers and the words are practically the same (produits)instead of products, material, total the same, get my drift.how do they get to nigh on a grand?
sorry to go on,but if you do,start now its long winded
good luck beccy

Re: Feb 2009 Applications
Don't ask. I had hubby sign all the statutory declarations, printed off the application, posted it off. Received an email 6 days later saying they are returning all of it as he didnt sign the application form. Why couldnt they just email me and ask us to resend the application form?
Never mind, so we are now waiting for it to return.
