Re: August 2009 Applicant
hi
A friend of mine applied in August/July got this reply in his email.
I am writing to you in regard to the above Skilled Migration application to
Australia and your email enquiry received, see below.
At present your application is undergoing routine processing.
Unfortunately, ensuring all the legal requirements are met in relation to
an application can take some time.
The only requests sent to you from this office were for you to provide Form
80, further evidence of your employment and a further request for
information omitted from your Form 80.
The request for further medical information was sent to you form the Health
Operations Centre to undertake medical
examinations.
Some of the checks currently being undertaken are undertaken directly from
this office, some by posts in other countries and some by other agencies
acting on our behalf. As soon as we have the results we will continue
processing your application and provide requests for further information.
I am following up on the status of your application on a regular basis. I
can confirm in your case that checks are progressing and assure you it is
being processed as soon as practicable. You will be contacted if we require
additional information to process your application.
We appreciate your patience in this matter.

Dear is ur friend also from Lahore, Pakistan? If yes then it's somehow a good news for Pakistani applicants but from this reply, one thing is cleared in front of us that they r continuously waiting for the reply from the AHC Islamabad but how is it possible that AHC Islamabad takes a lot of time in order to complete the checks. I could not understand this thing yet. It means other HR countries complete the checks quickly while AHC is lazy in this regard How is it possible? I could not understand. I think that there r some internal issues that we can not understand.

Re: August 2009 Applicant
so y there is too much delay after medical. do u think that AHC is responsible for the delay in order to complete the checks. I don't think so because too many people waited for a long long time ago. How is it possible that the checks of all the applicants are still to be uncompleted. At least some visa should be granted to the Pakistani applicants as well so that we can say that Pakistani applicants also getting visas but no one got visa yet from Pakistan.

Another question is, what if applicant's qualification and work experience is outside Pakistan? I wonder what other checks AHC Islamabad would conduct in this case? I don't see any.

AD, Thanks for responding, however you need to read the post carefully and if you are aware of the response then post it, rather then passing your judgement.

I am also from Pakistan and send a request to CO to update about my application process. Last time, i was informed that external routine checks are going on. This time, i got reply that internal routine checks are going on. I agree with the opinion that there is some internal issue in DIAC regarding immigration of Pakistanis or HR countries.
There is a reason to believe it because i have few friends who never visited abroad and are working in same company for long. They all applied one after the other during months, February to June 2009.
one of them whose case was finalized before end of year 2009 has got visa in december 2009. he actually did medical and PCC before CO request.
Rest everyone was waiting for CO request and they are still waiting. Now couple of them did go for medical and PCC but no progress on their application. They are also informed the same that routine checks are going on.
I think that there might be something for Pakistanis in new fiscal year
Lets all hope for the best and wait for new fiscal year.
