april definatly is a weird month
ive got my visa , incredible bloody lucky, sporny , jammy,
so sorry to all those ive stepped over so sorry , i honestly dont no how or why ?? its like winning the lottery
4mths and 4 days ,probably twice or even 3 times quicker than i expected and should of had it .
And you no wot that means the flight i have to see my girlfriend in 7days is now a 1 way flight
, crazy time and so much to do
and start planning to work on the secret project (it must be time for chippies)
still pealing myself of the ceiling

The same thing happed to me today. I sent additional info for Evidence of de facto relationship by email the other day and today the status for it has changed to "received".
I sent them an enquiry through their online form as well
to ask something else and also told them that I sent them additional
info by email just to make sure... They replied to me today and said "thanks for the additional information. It has been uploaded. But you still don't have a case officer".
So hmm.... what do you reckon?

De Mange update -
Had an email from a CO this morning - basically asking for
1) clarification on a couple of employment issues - easily sorted.
2) medicals - sent earlier this week via courier from UK - depends how long it takes a moped to get to Aus.
3) Australian police check - sent for this a few weeks ago so expecting it shortly but bit concerned it may have got lost somewhere.
Then I think thats it.
Had an email from a CO this morning - basically asking for
1) clarification on a couple of employment issues - easily sorted.
2) medicals - sent earlier this week via courier from UK - depends how long it takes a moped to get to Aus.
3) Australian police check - sent for this a few weeks ago so expecting it shortly but bit concerned it may have got lost somewhere.
Then I think thats it.

My status changed to 'processing further' on 19th April, very early on among the Aprilites. Got very excited that I have a CO. However, not hearing anything from my CO for two weeks and no change in doc checklist, I sent ASPC an e-mail couple of days back. Today, they replied that I don't have a CO yet. Very depressing. Lesson learned..... Proc further may not conclusively mean assignment of a CO.

Oh, and sorry you didn't have a CO. You'll get one soon, I'm sure - just a couple more weeks and I think we'll see April applicants begin to take off (I'm thinking around the 15th).

Hi Guys, I phoned our emigration agent today to ask her to send us details regarding police checks and medicals, she said "hold on a minute, I had an email from Adelaide about you!!!!!!!!". They are requesting our medical and police check!!!!!!
I checked the online application yesterday but didn't notice the change, it says....
29/08/2008 Application being processed further
then further down it says......

We've got a case officer!!!!!!!!!
It really is happening people, hold on to your hats!!
We are a bog-standard non-MODL online application, submitted 14th April. Next time IT COULD BE YOU!!!!
