Wow, thanks folks for your positive responses!! You all think I have a CO!

I'm a little hesitant because I sent some RECENT work experience for DH via email because I could not upload it (received 500 error repeatedly). DH had changed jobs in May. I'm wondering if that is the reason that category has changed....

Also the date 20/08 was a while ago, and we haven't received any contact - something like - time to get your Meds and PCCs done. We're working on the MEDS - DH goes on Saturday. We plan to reorder the FBI clearances this week.

Hmm....seems odd to me.

How's it going? I thought you were really close to VISA Grant!

Didn't you just need to send a formal letter stating you are no longer pursuing the 136? How is that coming?

You're right. We sent the letter 2 weeks ago and still no word. The only thing that has changed is that, on our on-line profile our children's birthdays were wrong and in the last week they have been corrected. Let's keep our fingers crossed it's a sign the visa is near. The stress is really starting to get to us as it's 2 years since we put in our professional assessments and got the ball rolling. We have sold one of the cars, only one of us has a job now and our medicals and police checks expire this month. So we are thinning out our stuff, getting removal firms in to give us a quote and our cupboards and fridge and freezer are looking bare!

I'm sure it means something is happening, at least you know they've received it and someone has taken the time too add it to your details, that's gotta be something!!

Hey Catherine, you do look like you have a case officer. None of my document checklist changed when I emailed all of my supporting documents to them in the beginning. They just added the line applicantion being processed further.

So a big congratulations on your case officer.

Can't wait to see the fist April applicant get their visa this month !!!!!

April is kind of a weird month. We had some April's with VISAs in July - to work on the "secret project" no doubt.

Since then, there have been a few mixed in with the Marchies. There was just another April yesterday with a visa....so it's trickling.

april definatly is a weird month
ive got my visa , incredible bloody lucky, sporny , jammy,
so sorry to all those ive stepped over so sorry , i honestly dont no how or why ?? its like winning the lottery
4mths and 4 days ,probably twice or even 3 times quicker than i expected and should of had it .
And you no wot that means the flight i have to see my girlfriend in 7days is now a 1 way flight , crazy time and so much to do
and start planning to work on the secret project (it must be time for chippies)

All this talk of visa grants is making me check my application status daily but it just won't change
I've even tried checking several times per day and that didn't help either

Seriously though, congratulations to everyone that gets their visa no matter when you applied for it, we'll all get there in the end

From experience, I think I checked several times a minute in the end, it will eventually change and when it does you'll be that shocked you have to check twice!
