Once DIMIA recieve this form (1022) it is usually only a couple of weeks to GRANT. This being said - if you've put complicated changes on it - further checks may be required - ie change of name/status etc
Make sure that everything they have asked for goes together (thinking of if they have asked for 1022 plus other things) - it makes life easier for them - and so for you as well; also they do request this..
Hope to read your 'Got its' soon - Spring has really begun to spring here in Aus, and it would be great for you to experience it.

Ring them for us Cas and ask them if we can hav it this week please as we are homeless n the 2nd September.....we want to fly on the 8th. That is cuttin it a bit fine

Just had confirmation from agent, he said it should be a matter of weeks to visa grant once the 1022 is back

I think it's time to give up guessing...that's my new way of thinking, of course it will probably last all of a day, before I start trying to guess what our CO is waiting for again!!!

Our police checks have now been sent with the form 1022. Have sent them just international signed for (£4) and they've not reached our CO yet! Medicals are booked for the 9th Sep and believe it or not, we've all got various ailments! Typical hey?
