Thanks mate. To be honest it's not sunk in yet.

While I feel great, I do feel guilty for those who have been waiting years longer than us.

We live in a very "every man for themselves" world these days, so I'll be thinking about those still waiting before I party.

To be honest Jim, it's all over the place. There seems to be no order in the madness. But I do think the FSW2 is moving a lot quicker than it ever used to, so I'd be hopefull you'll be done and dusted before the end of the year.

Might be much sooner, who knows

Hey, I'm an optimist

But there were folk from our year who applied months after, and got PR months before us, so it's very possible.

It actually took us nearly a year to get our house sellable. Had to fit new bathroom, new flooring and new boiler. The time does just disappear.

Also, if you want a good price for your house then you need to be prepared to wait a while.

"Dear Applicant,

This regards your application for permanent residence to Canada.

We are now ready to issue your permanent residence visa

OMG!!!!! thats fantastic news

not many left now surely to receive news....dont worry Jane still rooting for you.

i know what you mean about not wanting to celebrate too much.
because i got my COPR in Oct 12 people here are asking me if ive changed my mind as im not there yet. im actually sitting waiting for news on a possible job. but regardless of whether that happens or not ive made a clear decision that i am definitely going and wont even contemplate saying its not for me until ive spent more time in Canada the it took for me to get PR. i completely appreciate how lucky i am to have this opportunity more so when i read about people who have waited much longer and those poor sods a la 2008 chaos

Come on Slow-coach!

If we drop it off, we would need to pick it up, and it takes two weeks for that process apparently, so no.

It's ok, we will just do a wee shopping trip to USA and get it on the way back

Passports all scanned and send back today along with more new photo's.

Why do they need so many photo's do you think? They originally get 6 , then there is more for meds and more now - lol!

We've had to send 12 each to date, and that's before PPR! Every time they've asked us for an updated form, they want more bloody photos! What do they do with them all???!
