Yes, 40 footer. We had just a little more than would have fitted in a 20.

Yes, filled to the roof, then shored up before they closed it.

And yes, huge stress relief. Until the next one... finding accommodation at the other end, lol.

Morning all, postie just pulled up on the drive carrying a recorded delivery envelope in his hand, poor bloke nearly had a heart attack I think, door was open before he could ring the bell!

And yes it was our COPR pack. It's finally all done. So pleased with how quickly it has gone, just over 3 weeks since we sent our copy passports back.

Pack has our individual COPRs and immunisation sheet to fill in for our boy as well as leaflet on integration classes and a long letter covering all practicalities from customs to medical insurance with hyperlinks to the websites.

So now just need the property to sell and we'll be off in July.

Fingers crossed for those still waiting, once the PPRs come then you really are on the home straight, oh and our ECAS hadn't updated since "medical results received" in December, so wouldn't worry too much if there aren't any updates. I guess they are just concentrating on the backlog.

Congratulations Bob, what a great start to the day!!! That really was quick, here's hoping ours will be equally quick! You can relax now, oh wait, maybe not, just a few things to get done before July!!!! we're similar in that we need to sell our house and are unsure as to whether we should put it on market now or wait for PPR....! If they move as quickly as you we should get on with it but our meds received was only updated this week....

Dave n' Ailsa so are you now sitting in an empty house? You don't fly out till March do you? What are you doing till then? Eating off paper plates and sleeping on the floor??!!

Thanks Jane. We put ours on when we received the PPR, sure yours will arrive any day now. The thing is now, it is real and not just a dream!

We are talking to movers at the moment, got one coming round next Tuesday. Keep getting random quotes based on cubic feet but doesn't really translate to sofas and beds for me so need a real person to talk to. Dave n Ailsa, if you don't mind me asking, who did you go with and how much was the whole container?
