Re: The 2011 FSW timeline club
Wow congrats guys, at least you've been getting some movement! We returned our last form nearly 5 weeks ago and have heard nothing since. Given the number of times we had to return it (4) this is probably a good sign! I really hope we get med requests before Christmas! RbjdtbBurwash - where are you getting your medicals done?

Thanks for that, hope you hear something soon. I'm getting very despondent at the moment, really hoped to have med requests before Christmas, I very much doubt that will happen now

Re: The 2011 FSW timeline club
Hello everyone.
We still have no news on our PR status
However, we have just flown to Toronto and got ourselves a couple of TWP's!!!
Ailsa has been working her ass off over the last two years, to get their Canadian branch to offer her a full time position in Burlington. She received an official offer a couple of weeks ago and we are now relaxing in a hotel in Burlington after activating our work permits earlier today
We are aiming to head out with the kids and the dog next March, or earlier of the house sells quickly.
As you can imagine, it's all now go go go. Two years of nail-biting frustration has finally come good.
Hopefully we will get some PR news soon, but regardless, we will be starting our new lifes in Canada early next year.
Good luck to all those on this thread, and indeed everyone on this forum.

What fab news Dave n Ailsa - what a great Xmas present!
Dont worry I'll be holding the fort on this thread, I actually think I'm the only one left but I guess that's to be expected as we sent our app off early 2012 (so technically I don't belong here ha ha!)
Let us know how you get on!
Good luck

**** Update ****
After Ailsa sent an email with a copy of our work permits and her job offer, our status on ecas has magically changed to "we started processing your application on December 11th
Finally some movement!
This has been a fantastic week

You know what they say... no buses for hours then 3 come along at once...
We got home from our trip to activate our TWP's and there on the door step was a brown envelope with our Med requests!!
Woohoo!! It is dated the 12th of the 12th so just 1 day after our app went in process, which was the day after I emailed a copy of my TWP and job offer to CIC.
